Give Away Day!

So, May 17th is give away day for Sew Mama Sew blog.

I am offically giving away my 2nd completed project. I am so excited to share my "work" with someone.

It is perfect to carry a child's toys on a trip.

I made this while thinking about my little niece and nephew. I think it is so cute. I re-purposed two pillow cases, which I am excited about. It was my second project and both times I re-purposed different things.

Leave me a comment about things you have re-purposed or DIYed (Decor/Do It Yourself). I am eager to learn about other things people have done. If you have a blog, please let me know, I love to discover new blogs and sites.

I will only be shipping in the US, sorry to those who are international.
The Give Away will comments will not be considered after May 20th.

I feel like I am always trying to re-use or re-purpose items, one time I actually made a pillowcase from a dress that was given to me that I would have never worn (but loved it as a pillowcase, lol) Good luck with marriage! Thanks.

That's such a cute bag! I re-purpose all the time - lately I've been making quilts for Lutheran World Relief out of old/donated material...

My son loves bags! He'd have a great time packing up his stuff in this bag.

I've start experimenting with applique-ing designs on Tshirts for my toddler...using pieces of old adult Tshirts for the designs and thrifted shirts as the base.

This is cute! My daughter would have it filled with stuffed animals in no time! I have repurposed a lot of my daughter's pants and made them into pockets for my sweatpants. I've also been wanting to try all the cute things you can make out of old socks. Sounds kinda grody, but an old sock makes a really cute mouse!

Great bag! I'm currently saving old jeans to make into....not sure yet. I'd really like to recover an old chair we have with them, but I need a lot more to do that. Thanks for the chance to win.

Very nice finished project. I have so many incomplete projects floating around here it's embarrassing. I haven't done much to my blog in a while, life kinda gets in the way sometimes, you know? But if you feel like swinging by, that'd be cool.

Love your fabric choice! My sons could use a toy bag! I had a quilt that my aunt had actually used for a painting drop...Someone made an adorable jointed bear for me out
of that quilt! He is adorable.

I love to repurpose things, too. I repurposed Tees into pants for my boy recently. I love making wool softies or diaper covers from old wool sweaters. :) And every time I find an old skirt, I want to sew it up into a handbag! This is a super cute bag you've made. It looks soft and cozy, too.
Thanks for the giveaway.
